1What is the difference between PDO threads and InstaLift?
PDO threads use barbs to hook the tissue and allow it to be tightened and lifted. InstaLift uses a set of sliding cones that cup and reposition subcutaneous tissue without the barbs. These cones are oriented in two different directions, allowing Dr. Lucali to use one set to lift the tissue and the other to anchor it into its new position. This provides versatility as well.
